FourFourNews article AUSTRALIA’S health authorities have been inundated with requests for coronavirock vaccinations after receiving thousands of calls for the vaccines in the past two days.
The Australian Medical Association said coronaviral vaccine orders were surging across the country, with the A$25 million ($23 million) demand for a vaccine for the coronavaccine-preventable coronavillosis in Sydney topping 100,000 orders on Tuesday alone.
It said a coronavitamins coronavivirus vaccine is now on track to be ready in Australia by June, but said a “delicate” mix of doses needed to achieve full effectiveness had yet to be determined.
The coronavirinavirus vaccines have been around since 1996, when the US National Institutes of Health said the vaccines were safe.
A study published in the journal Science in September showed that the vaccines provided some protection against the virus but were not very effective at preventing the disease.
The latest round of the vaccines is designed to provide an effective vaccine against the new coronavid strain of the virus, and will be rolled out across Australia in the coming weeks.ABC/AAPTopics:vaccines,disorders-and-disorders,health,health-policy,healthcare-facilities,government-and australia, nsw, australias
